What is InnoBoat Bizkaia?
InnoBoat Bizkaia is a project formed by a multidisciplinary team from the Bilbao School of Engineering (EIB) that integrates the experience and knowledge of different fields of engineering. This team is dedicated to developing innovative projects in the field of nautical engineering and maritime sustainability.
General objective
Our goal is to design and build a state-of-the-art sustainable boat, which will be evaluated by international experts at the Energy Boat Challenge in Monaco.
Sustainable Development Goals
The lines of action are marked by the Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 4 “Quality education” is the means of work to achieve SDG 9 “Industry, innovation and infrastructure”. The following SDGs are integrated transversally: “Gender equality” (SDG 5), “Affordable and clean energy” (SDG 7), “Climate action” (SDG 13) and “Partnerships to achieve the goals” (SDG 17).
